The Cookie Jar
The Cookie Jar sets are a collection of trance mixes that can be played in any order or in succession for a seemingly endless, thought provoking, and a focus based headspace.
The same tracks are never replayed.
Energy is driven in waves.

High Energy Power Albums
These aggressively mixed, high energy trance albums are built around hard hitting basslines and heavy synth.
Peanut Butter Cookies (2009)
Starts at a high BPM, stays at a high BPM. Who’s afraid of 138??!
Chocolate Chip Cookies (2009)
Originally aired on DI.FM’s critically acclaimed Trance channel and held as a rotational mix for a multi-year run. Chew on this one from start to finish!
Oreo Cookies (2010)
Mega-mix style but not quite as aggressive as a traditional mega-mix.
The 29 tracks mixed are layered like an Oreo cookie, with a darker start, a sweet center, and an unpredictable crispy creamy finish.
Blueberry Muffins (2011)
Tech trance start (muffin top) into a more melodic synth driven (cake) middle finished with a deeper style of melodic trance.
Red Rock Candy (2012)
Anthemic trance and guitar driven with stadium like vocals throughout. A trance concert.
Individual Solo Mixes
Clubbin’ With Vixro (The Duct Tape Revision) (June 2008)
The first mix I ever made and shared with close friends.
Massive Cougar Attack (Extended 2h45m) (August 2008)
When I was trying to discover the style of music I wanted to DJ, produce, or compose into albums… I made this mix. It contains my first mashups and edits, as well as every style of trance I enjoyed at the time. The very first track was a Dark Knight mashup intro I had thought of while watching the batman movie. The mix also contains music from all of my favorite artists at the time, some who I had seen live that year and others who I just dreamed to see at some point. The Backwards Mediterranean Flower mashup was played by Roger Shah himself on his radio show Magic Island, Music for Balearic People.
Small Cougar Attack (September 2008)
This is a smaller, remixed version of Massive Cougar Attack. The 3 mashups are cleaned up and the mix is truncated into a refined 81 minute version. My friends told me I needed to submit my work to the biggest internet radio station at the time, DI.FM, but they only allowed streams of 80 minutes or less to be played on their radio station. I submitted the set without much hope for a response. The station host, Entranced, discovered me and played my mix online to an audience of over 3000 listeners the first stream!!!!! The mix was aired on the Digitally Imported Trance channel, the station I had been listening to weekly for over 2 years. This is the same station that catapulted Armin van Buuren – ‘A State of Trance’, Markus Schulz with ‘Global DJ Broadcast’, as well as Above & Beyond and their show, ‘Trance Around The World’.
Submerged In Dreams (December 2008)
When you are in a state of unknown lucidity. This was my first foray into dark and deep progressive style tech trance.
Submerged In Dreams Vol 2. (November 2010)
Another take on trance in various states of lucidity. This time inspired by the movie Inception with lingering transitions and edits. Originally aired on Digitally Importeds (DI.FM) Trance channel.
Submerged In Dreams Vol 2. Bonus Disc (October 2011)
Anniversary special for Submerged in Dreams vol. 2.
Summer Vibes (Revisited) (July 2009)
Progressive trance in a fun and light atmosphere, perfect for the summer. Mostly lower BPM with very long transitions. One of my first CD length mixes and in full lossless quality.
He’s Back (November 2018)
After a multi-year break I have returned with a new trance mix inspired by worldwide music festivals and shows I was fortunate enough to attend in 2018.
Back to the basics mix of pure classic trance tunes from the 90’s and early 2000’s.
Marathon length trance mixes when you just want some good trance and no time limit.
Vixro Only (Top Tunes of 2008)
More than 5 hours of the hottest trance tracks of 2008. I mixed my favorite 50 tunes of 2008. These are the tracks I heard for the first time and just had to have them. They are the tunes you play over and over again throughout the year. This is a continuous mix, instead of a mega-mix, so that you can set and forget for multiple hours in a row.
Vixro Only (Top Tunes of 2009)
Over 100 trance tracks from 2009 mixed into a 9 hour set.
The End (August 2015)
My farewell mix to trance music and an extended hiatus from mixing.
141 tracks over 14 hours of trance music. (YES, FOURTEEN HOURS)
The vibes albums are a series of albums where each album is curated to a specific energy or emotion. Each album has a different style of mixing, music genre, and feeling. The missing albums are a reflection of incomplete or unexplored emotions that never made it to release.
Vibe 1 (March 2020)
The first of the Vibes series. Intended to be listened to as an album from start to finish in one sitting.
Vibes 1 explores emotions through downtempo, R&B, trap, alternative, indie, and deep house. This is where you pay attention to the small details, as everything is there for a reason. Love is explored here.
Vibe 3 (February 2019)
A full progression of hard trance from start to finish. You don’t have time to overthink, just fucking dance it out. Breaks here are used for a short reflection, only to be dropped back into an aggressive beat to eliminate the thinking process. Sometimes you just need to feel. Use those emotions for feeling alive. DANCE!
Vibe 4 (April 2020)
A house version of the vibes series. Progressive and main-stream house music is used to just groove. The lyrics are chosen carefully here for impact. Roller-skating? Check. Disco-party? Check. It’s only 1 hour long… you don’t need a break. Feel it. Sweat. Enjoy it. STOP OVERTHINKING IT.
Vibe 6 (May 2020)
Deep, dark progressive techno and psy. This is an exploratory mind-twist. Use as a focus driven set while diving into a passion you can do with your eyes closed. Thought-provoking.
